Anna Selezneva was born on July 29, 1990, in Moscow, Russia. She is a fashion model who was discovered in 2007, while she was in a McDonald’s. An agent came up to her, and she negotiated a contract with Silent Management, landing in Paris two months later.

Anna Selezneva nasceu a 29 de Julho de 1990, em Moscovo, na Rússia. É modelo e foi descoberta em 2007, quando foi abordada por um agente num McDonalds. Mais tarde acabou por negociar um contracto com a Silent Management e dois meses depois estava a trabalhar em Paris.

Selezneva soon became a fresh face on the modelling scene, debuting at the spring 2008 Dries van Noten show in Paris. One month later, she landed the cover of Vogue Itália, which ultimately launched her overall career.

Selezneva foi uma lufada de ar fresco no mundo da moda, estreando-se no desfile (primavera 2008) de Dries van Noten, em Paris. Um mês mais tarde, apareceu capa da Vogue Itália, o que acabou por lançar a sua carreira.

Selezneva has done editorial after editorial for top fashion magazines like “i-D", "Vogue" and "V", and has been featured on the cover of 5 international distributions of Vogue, working with top photographers like Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Terry Richardson. She is a personal favourite of Vogue Paris Editor in Chief Carine Roitfeld as well as Vogue Paris Director Emmanuelle Alt.

Selezneva is a regular on the runways as well, walking for the most important designers and high fashion houses like Dior, Lanvin, Dries van Noten, Hermès, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Isabel Marant and Jean Paul Gaultier. She is one the most demanded models at the moment, especially in Paris. She has been handpicked by Balmain creative director, Christophe Decarnin, to open the Balmain show for the past few seasons.
