The Art of Evolution
Apart from seeing my family & friends, my most anticipated moment after arrival was to visit the reincarnation of Harputs Market, Harputs Union. Formerly located on Fillmore st, it is now properly placed downtown at 140 Geary St. The new location specifically highlights the shop's line, Harputs Own, which is conceptualized and produced by the Harputs team locally in San Francisco. The collection is based upon versatility and functionality, with a focus on minimal detailing for the maximum options for wear. Each piece is carefully examined and experimented upon in a plethora of lengths, fabrics, and colors, which means more often or not the clothing is truly one-of-a-kind.
Aside from Harputs Own, the shop carries Y-3, Pleasure Principle, Martha Davis, Comme des Garcons, and Jan Warnock. In celebration of Black Friday, all Y-3 will be 35% off, and a special 100-piece run of "The Swacket" in burgundy nylon will be sold for only $100.
